Akutabi Gamma is the main protagonist of Zombie Powder.

PersonalityEdit

Gamma appears to be some what flashy, hence his long white coat. Gamma also appears to be a laid-back devil-may care Ring Hunter. He seems to do things his own way, not caring who gets in his way. He seems to easily get angry with his opponents and will not hesitate to kill anyone. He seems to have rather low morals, such as stealing a police car. He seesm to be selfish to some degree, such as his reason for stealing the police car is because he wants to stay awake to look at the landscape. However, he does care deeply for his travelling companions, and goes to great lengths to defend them. He is a merciless fighter, unwilling to show anyone the slightest hint of mercy, apart from children. He seems to be dealing with a hidden persona deep down inside his body, first commented upon and shown during his battle with Balmunk. This was apparently kept in check with the use of medication that was needed to be resupplied in Chapter 26.

Role in the MangaEdit

In the first chapter Akutabi Gamma was introduced to be a flashy and intimidating Ring Hunter. He first was shown to posess one of the Rings of the Dead while he was eating food at a bar. He was forced into a fight, which he harshly dealt with the offenders. He was then picpocketed by his soon-to-be travelling companion Elwood. After that point, Gamma was brought to meet Elwood's sister where he was happily introduced and made dinner. After eating Gamma decided after a conversation with Elwood. Gamma later returned to find Elwood had been attacked by thugs due to him being seen with him. Gamma dealt harshly with the boss of the gang Mujata Colvin Kinqoro. He easily defeated him with his sword, despite being faced with a bazooka. His armored arm proved to storng for the shell,s easily crushing them. After that, he decided that he'd allow Elwood to travel with him. In the next town, when Gamma was getting information, Elwood was captured and almost murdered by two men. Gamma arrived in time,killing one and mortally wounding the other. Gamma scolded Elwood before the two departed for the next town. After arriving on the bus, Gamma and Elwood where attacked and forced into a brief fight. Gamma was shot in the back by C.T. Smith, who managed to block his sword strike with a briefcase. Gamma and Elwood are later apprehended and then freed by Smith, who is revealed to be Gamma's partner. After a brief sword duel with Ranewater Calder, Gamma was able to retrieve the Ring of the Dead that was held by the gang. After the trio left, they arrived in a town that seemed to be under the protection of the "Tripod of Justice" Wolfina. Gamma was instantly chased down and asked questions which he refused to answer. Upon learning of the Ring of the Dead attached to Wolfina's brother Emilio, he said that her brother was doomed. After his brief battle with one of Balmunk's men, he chased after them, catching up to Balmunk's Mystic Train on a unicycle. Gamma proceeded to battle Balmunk, easily on par with the Mystic. Gamma's latent and very ferocious abilities where revealed during this fight. He was easily able to kill Balmunk's large tool. Gamma returned to normal and proceeded to finally kill Balmunk. Afterwards, when Wolfina was out of the hospital the now five travelling companions made their way to the next town where they encountered the young girl who was in love with Gamma. She brought Gamma's medicine for his "condition" and then proceeded to take them to the Doctor so that Emilio, Wolfina's brother could be healed

Abilities and PowersEdit

Armored Arm: Gamma's right arm seems to be infused with armor all the way up to the side of his cheek. This trait has given his arm a black color and earned him the nick name "The Black Armed Death". The armor is apparently strong enough to crush a shell fired by a bazooka. When matched with Gamma's amazing speed, he is able to catch bullets with no damage to himself.

Karin Zanjutsu: The legendary sword-style which Gamma has become a master in. The style is said to take at the very least 32 years to master. Gamma however mastered it in 4. The style of swordsmanship surrounds the user in the Black Flame of Death. Gamma has so far released three named attacks from the style of swordsmanship.

Karin Zanjutsu Blasting Type- Dragon Cannon: He creates a large chain of black flames from his hand and throws it forward towards his enemy, slashing them nearly in two.

Karin Zanjutstu Blasting Type - Five Sky Lightning Cannon: Sprouts several appendages of black flame which can be used to fly and crash through objects, can also be used for defensive or offensive purposes.

'Karin Zanjutsu 'Running Combat Level- Water Dragon Cannon: Fires a highly concentrated beam of the Black Flame of Death, capable of slashing opponents multiple times.
